Knowledge Transfer (KT) Schedule

To ensure the entire 8-person team is fully aligned on the product vision, domain, and technical architecture before execution begins, we will conduct a rigorous 2-day Knowledge Transfer (KT) launchpad.

The KT is structured as 6-7 productive hours per day, split into focused sessions. After every major topic, we hold a discussion/Q&A so everyone is aligned before moving to the next.

Day 1: Product & Domain Understanding

Total Duration: ~6.5 Hours

Session 1: Vision & Philosophy (1.5 hrs)

• SMART vision and core philosophy
• What specific problem we are solving in the hiring space
• Why we are fundamentally different from traditional ATS and Assessment platforms
• High-level business workflow and end-to-end user journey

Session 2: Domain Deep-Dive (1.5 hrs)

• Understanding the Hiring domain
• The concept of Competency Intelligence
• ORIEN Intelligence: Moving beyond simple inputs to an industry-aware knowledge graph
• Our Assessment philosophy (Competencies first, tests second)
• The AI processing workflow

Session 3: Architecture & Technical Overview (2.0 hrs)

• Complete system architecture diagram walk-through
• Overall product modules breakdown
• Module ownership assignments (who owns what)
• High-level database schema design (PostgreSQL & Prisma)
• API architecture and REST/GraphQL patterns
• AI architecture overview (Anthropic Claude integration)

Session 4: Codebase & Environment Setup (1.5 hrs)

• Repository structure and branching strategy
• Local environment setup (Next.js, DB, Env vars)
• Coding standards, linting, and PR review process
• Q&A and Day 1 wrap-up

Day 2: Execution & Feature Walkthroughs

Total Duration: ~6.0 Hours

Session 1: Database & RBAC (1.5 hrs)

• Deep dive into Prisma schema and migrations
• Multi-tenancy implementation strategy
• Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) middleware walkthrough

Session 2: AI Integration & Prompts (1.5 hrs)

• Walkthrough of the AI adapter skeleton
• JSON schema validation using Zod for LLM outputs
• Designing effective system prompts for ORIEN

Session 3: UI Design System & Component Library (1.5 hrs)

• Tailwind CSS configuration and theming
• Reusable component architecture
• State management and form handling (React Hook Form)

Session 4: Sprint 1 Kickoff (1.5 hrs)

• Review of the Engineering Execution Board
• Assignment of initial tickets
• Agile rituals (Standups, Sprint Planning cadence)
• Final Q&A and official launch!
